In January, we announced plans to begin broadcasting in the Telugu language of India, in addition to our Hindi broadcast. Trans World Radio had informed us that the programs would begin in October 2020.
In early June, we received notification that the broadcast will begin on July 5th! Vandanalu Jesu! Thank you, Jesus!
We see two critical and strategic reasons for this expanded outreach. First, many pastors and evangelists are being denied entry in villages where there is no Gospel witness. The radio broadcasts cannot be so easily prevented from entering private homes. Second, many people are illiterate; if they’re going to receive the Gospel, it must come by hearing.
We are grateful for partnership with TWR and ministry partners in India, that enables the translation, recording, and airing of “Sajeeva Nireekshana” (translated “Living Hope”) on Sunday evenings at 8PM. Pastor Vijay translates and voices this broadcast. His team will also facilitate follow-up to radio listeners responses to the program.
You can tune into this live stream here.
Please join us in praying that God will use the Telugu broadcast to touch the hearts of seekers, and to strengthen the faith of believers.
Help more Indians hear the Gospel!
Give to the Telugu broadcast, so this can continue airing for generations to come.
