Welcome to the Voice of Hope podcast. 2 Timothy 2:15 reads like this, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.”

Arlin and Tony are your hosts. We seek to explore and discuss the clear and simple teachings of the Bible.

BASIC Plan

1. Big Deal  Our interpretation of the Bible is a big deal with major consequences.
2. Admit our weakness Be quick to admit you don’t have all the answers. We have so much to learn. Humility is a good first step. Isaiah 57:15 (KJV) “For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit.”
3. What if we are missing something major and when we stand before God, He condemns us because we missed it. Remember, we are Saved by Him [Jesus], not Us.
4. Interpretation for living. We are talking about an interpretation which impacts daily life.  
5. Lastly, Cherish the Author. Are you in love with the author of the Bible?
