Through the funds you raise from sponsors of your reading, you can help us distribute Bibles in countries across Africa, India, and beyond! This is a great opportunity for parents to guide their kids in learning to love reading while getting involved in sharing God’s Word with other people around the world. It’s also great for teachers, Sunday School teachers, or for any book-lover who wants a little extra motivation to read this December!
Anyone can join us in reading. Last year, we managed to raise over $43K USD for Bible distribution. Those funds were put to very good use in 2026, and we were able to share Bibles in at least seven different languages across multiple countries.
Of these funds, 86-year-old Mabel Shirk from Virginia raised $4,716 through the 10K pages she read! We are inspired by the commitment of each and every participant and we hope to see the same energy and excitement this year!
Here’s How it Works:
Read, read, read throughout the month of December.
Ask friends and family to sponsor you—they can pledge per page or give a single donation.
Every dollar you raise helps distribute HOPE Bibles to people in need around the world.
Win exciting prizes if you read enough pages! Not only will you enjoy the benefits of reading lots, but you’ll also help bring the Word of God to others—many who have never had a Bible of their own. Ready to make a difference? Learn more or register now.
Heralds of Hope helped purchase 660 Bibles for believers in Nigeria in September of 2026.
Here are some responses from recipients:
“I greatly appreciated your Bible and I gave out that very Bible in the prison I minister in, and the man gave his life to Christ. I have never been able to send you money, yet you still send to us your Bibles, thank you very much and God bless you.”
“I am writing to thank you for the blessing you sent to me through the man of God. God is so good to me through your Bible. You brought a renewed life and the light of Christ into my heart.”
“Thank you for considering us to get your Bibles here, may the faithful God reward you all there. We really appreciate those precious Bibles. I value my copy. God be with you all.”
“I’m inspired by your Bible. May his abundant grace be with you and your ministries over there. I appreciate your show of love, may heaven open to you all. I am amazed with what you did. Please continue to spread the gospel. It is food for the soul and I thank you for it.”
