Traditions are a part of every culture, but they can be misused. In this episode, we dive back into our series on Mark and examine Mark 7:1-13. We see the Pharisees condemning Jesus for not following tradition. Jesus responds to them in a way that can guide us in how we should hold tradition. While traditions are essential for cultural continuity and often arise from sincere efforts to please God, they become problematic when their origins are forgotten or used for selfish purposes. We explore what a balanced approach to tradition is and how we can demonstrate genuine worship to God.
