Taking God’s Hand

And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, “Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.”

And he replied: “Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.”

As we enter 2023, the economic, social, and spiritual darkness in our world is deepening. But we are excited to join hands with God and with YOU in bringing the Light into this darkness!

In 2022, your gifts enabled the distribution of 100,000 copies of the Scripture in a variety of languages, most of them to people who’ve never owned a copy of God’s Word before. Through your generosity, additional languages are in the process of being printed for 2023. One of those languages is Portuguese Creole, spoken by the people in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. These Bibles aren’t readily available in significant quantities, but we are partnering with another ministry to provide 18,000 copies to help meet the need. And your generous response to our year-end letter for Bible funding has been phenomenal. As of December 25, you contributed more than $100,000.00 toward these current and future Bible printing projects!

Our Adopt-a-Broadcast program also continues to move forward. We are currently working with two congregations on sponsoring additional broadcasts – to North Korea and Mongolia. If your family, business, or church is interested in opportunities like these, contact Arlin Horst at [email protected] for more information.

This new year also brings personnel changes. We are delighted to welcome four new members to our Board of Directors! They bring their unique giftings to serve in guiding the ministry to greater spiritual maturity, efficiency, and effectiveness in the coming years. We also welcome three new members to our Staff team: Crystal Martin, Austin Musser, and Irvin Weaver, Jr., better known as JR.

So, as we enter 2023, we take your hand in ours, place our hand in God’s hand, and move forward with confidence that His light will overcome the darkness and expose many to the glorious light of the Gospel! Together, let’s “expect great things from God and attempt great things for God.”
